How to play RALLYBALL

Serve underhand
Serve underhand and diagonally into the opposite service area. The serve must bounce beyond the kitchen line.
Start on the even side
The game always starts from the NW court, with the teammate on the even side serving—a nod to pickleball’s beginnings in Washington. Keep serving until your team loses a rally. Each new service turn starts from the even side, with whichever teammate is there. Teammates do not automatically alternate servers.
No kitchen restrictions
The kitchen lines help mark the serve, but they do not restrict volleys. You may move into that area and volley near the net.
Win on your serve
Use rally scoring to 15, but the winning point must be earned while serving. At 14, winning a rally while receiving earns the serve, but your score stays at 14. You must win a rally while serving to finish the game.
Racket contact only
Play the ball with your racket—not your hand, foot, or another part of your body. Net-touching balls are not live, and players must not touch the net.
