Official rules overview
RALLYBALL is easy to begin on a court players already know. Rally scoring keeps the game moving, while the final point must be won on serve.
Games are played to 15 points using rally scoring. A point is awarded after every rally until a team reaches 14.
At 14, a team can score the game-winning point only while serving. Win while receiving and the score stays at 14—you gain the serve and must finish the game yourself.
Players alternate two serves at a time: one from the right side, then one from the left side.
Serve underhand into the diagonal half of the court, beyond the kitchen. One serve attempt is allowed and a net-touching serve remains live.
The returner lets the serve bounce. The serving side then lets the return bounce before either side may volley.
After the required two bounces, there is no kitchen restriction. Players may volley from anywhere on their side of the court.
RALLYBALL Quickplay is one game to 15. Match formats may use the best of 3, 5, or 7 games.
